Communication, Adjunct Faculty

Job Summary

• Florida Gulf Coast University is a comprehensive university dedicated to quality education, research, and service. • Assignments will include teaching Public and Effective Speaking classes. Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor.

Job Description

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

Teaching responsibilities include guiding students to develop communication skills such as speech organization, outlining, delivery, audience analysis, as well as learning how to critique speeches.

Other Duties:

Works with Communication Lab Director to promote and support public speaking related events.

Additional Job Description

Required Qualifications:

Master’s Degree with at least 18 graduate hours in Communication

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in public speaking as well as teaching the theory and craft of public speaking.
