Job Description
Living Word is seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Communications & Social Media Coordinator to assist with church communications across social media, email, graphics, photography, and other digital platforms.
This role will help keep communication projects organized, manage timelines and deadlines, create and edit content, and ensure Living Word’s message is communicated clearly, creatively, and effectively.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist with day-to-day church communications, including social media, email, graphics, and digital content.
Manage project details, calendars, timelines, and deadlines for communication projects.
Create, edit, schedule, and publish social media content.
Assist with photography for weekend services, events, ministries, and social media.
Edit and organize photos for digital and promotional use.
Assist with basic graphic creation and content development.
Maintain and update projects within project management software.
Coordinate details and follow up with team members to keep projects moving forward.
Help ensure communication is accurate, consistent, timely, and aligned with Living Word’s vision and brand.
Stay current with social media, digital communication, and creative trends.
Qualifications
Previous photography experience required.
Strong administrative and organizational skills.
Proficient with computers and comfortable learning and using digital platforms.
Experience editing photos and creating or editing digital content.
Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation.
Experience with project management software is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Creative with a strong visual and artistic eye.
Proactive, dependable, and driven to see projects through to completion.
Strong team player who works well in a collaborative environment.
Passionate about communicating the message and vision of Living Word in clear, effective, and creative ways.

Regular Schedule of Hours
Schedule to be arranged, but may include midweek and weekend church services.
