Redwing Labs is a Bengaluru-based drone delivery technology startup developing and deploying innovative aerial solutions for healthcare logistics and agriculture.

We work with governments, international organizations and institutional partners to improve access to essential services through technology. Our projects include healthcare drone logistics initiatives in rural and underserved regions of India.

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented and proactive Communications & Content Associate to support Redwing's external and internal communications.

You will work closely with our leadership, operations and project teams to tell compelling stories about our technology, partnerships and impact, with a particular focus on our healthcare drone logistics initiatives, including our UPS-supported project in Andhra Pradesh.

Key Responsibilities

Content Writing & Storytelling

• •Draft engaging LinkedIn and Twitter (X) posts, articles, newsletters, website content and project updates.
• •Develop impact stories, case studies and narratives based on project milestones, field experiences and operational achievements.
• •Translate technical and operational information into clear, compelling content for diverse audiences.

External Communications

• •Draft professional emails, partner updates and other stakeholder communications.
• •Support communication materials for project partners, government stakeholders and institutional collaborators.
• •Assist in preparing presentations, project briefs and communications for events and announcements.

Social Media & Digital Content

• •Develop and maintain a social media content calendar.
• •Create social media posts, captions and basic visual content using Canva or similar tools.
• •Coordinate the collection and organization of photographs, videos and field stories.
• •Support basic video editing, subtitling and the preparation of short-form video content.

Internal Communications & Coordination

• •Prepare internal updates, announcements and meeting summaries.
• •Coordinate with project and field teams to gather information and communication materials.
• •Track communication deliverables, follow up on inputs and coordinate approvals to ensure timely publication.

Requirements

• •Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• •Strong writing, editing and storytelling abilities.
• •Ability to simplify technical information and communicate it to non-technical audiences.
• •Good organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• •Familiarity with LinkedIn, Twitter (X), Google Workspace, Canva and basic content creation tools.
• •Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with different teams.
• •Interest in technology, healthcare, development or social impact.

Work Location & Travel

• •Hybrid work arrangement: Two days per week at our Bengaluru office, with the remaining three days working remotely (alternate Saturdays are working).
• •Office days will be coordinated with the team, with flexibility based on project requirements and important meetings.
• •Occasional travel to project locations, including field sites in Andhra Pradesh and other parts of India, may be required for documenting project activities, gathering stories, coordinating interviews and capturing photo/video content.
• •Travel may account for up to 25% of working time, depending on project needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• •Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Media Studies, Public Relations or a related field. Candidates from other backgrounds with strong writing skills are also encouraged to apply.
• •Previous internship or professional experience in content writing, communications, journalism or social media.
• •Ability to understand, speak or read Telugu would be an advantage , particularly for reviewing field videos, interviews and local-language content from our Andhra Pradesh project.
• •Familiarity with basic video editing, subtitling and digital storytelling.
• •Experience using AI-assisted writing and content creation tools.
