Public Policy Team

The mission of Vantage Data Centers’ Global Public Policy team is to help deliver the best possible digital infrastructure for the world’s leading technology companies. Global Public Policy is responsible for Vantage Data Centers' government relations, economic development, and community engagement. The team partners with our New Site Development, Construction, Engineering, Legal, Tax, People, Operations, and other departments to grow market share, acquire and retain customers, navigate through regulatory and policy developments, mitigate risk, and expand into new geographies. This role will be based in Denver, CO following our flexible work policy (3 days in-office, 2 days flexible).

Position Overview

As a Community Engagement Coordinator, you will support community engagement activities across the North America Region, helping to strengthen relationships with local stakeholders and ensure the successful execution of community-focused initiatives for operational markets. This role will coordinate engagement activities, events, partnerships, and communications that support Vantage's projects and reinforce the company's commitment to being a trusted community partner.

Working closely with Public Policy, Marketing, Construction, Operations, Sustainability, and People & Culture teams, you will help organize and implement community engagement programs, support stakeholder outreach, coordinate events and meetings, maintain engagement records, and assist with workforce development and community investment initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, relationship-oriented, and passionate about supporting meaningful community partnerships while managing multiple projects and priorities across a dynamic and growing region.

Key Responsibilities

· Support Community Engagement efforts across North America in the planning, coordination, and execution of community engagement initiatives and programs in operational markets.

· Coordinate community events, stakeholder meetings, workforce development activities, volunteer opportunities, and partner engagements.

· Assist with preparing presentations, briefing materials, reports, meeting summaries, communications, and other engagement-related resources.

· Capture and support the development of community impact stories, partnership highlights, stakeholder success stories, and program outcomes for use in internal and external communications.

· Track community investments, sponsorships, grants, workforce development activities, and engagement metrics.

· Coordinate follow-up actions, commitments, and deliverables resulting from stakeholder meetings, community events, and partnership activities. · Support community investment programs, including grant administration, sponsorship tracking, donation requests, and impact reporting.

· Conduct stakeholder and community research to support market engagement strategies, partnership development, and project priorities.

· Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Public Policy, Sustainability, Construction, Operations, and People & Culture to support engagement efforts.

· Support the collection, organization, and reporting of community engagement data, outcomes, and impact metrics.

· Perform additional duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

2–3 years of experience in community engagement, stakeholder relations, public affairs, government relations, community investment, or nonprofit partnerships.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including writing and public speaking, with a proven ability to build trust across diverse stakeholder groups.

Demonstrated experience building and maintaining relationships with community leaders, local governments, workforce development organizations, educational institutions, and business associations.

Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities across several markets in a fast-paced environment.

Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across departments and regions.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project tracking tools; experience with CRM or impact reporting tools a plus

Flexibility to travel throughout the North America Region for site visits, stakeholder meetings, and events (anticipated up to 40%).

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Public Affairs, Communications, Political Science, Public Policy, Community Development, or a related field

Experience supporting community engagement programs in infrastructure, technology, energy, real estate development, construction, or other capital-intensive industries

Experience navigating both grassroots and executive-level stakeholder engagement.

Familiarity with community engagement, development, or public affairs efforts.

Additional Details

  • Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on CO market data and may vary in other locations)
  • This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.
  • Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
