You will identify and collaborate with partner organizations and key stakeholders to understand community needs, build relationships, and drive impactful outcomes. You will own the region's community issues management and lead the identification and deployment of programs designed to deliver sustaining and lasting impact in the communities where we live and work. The AWS InCommunities team launches long-term, innovative programs that drive lasting impact in regions around the world. - - Lead community assessments for new sites in the region. Identify potential community-related risks and develop proactive engagement plans to mitigate them. Think strategically to scale InCommunities programming as the AWS business grows.
- - Capture and report data that demonstrates community engagement's quantified and qualified impact on AWS Infrastructure, its employees, and the community. Communicate these results internally and externally.
- - Partner with cross-functional teams — engineering, operations, real estate, energy, water, sustainability, construction, legal, public policy, and public relations to deliver results.
- - Be physically present in the community. Roll up sleeves and get work done on the ground when required.
