Community Impact Manager

DP World Tour

  • Contract: Fixed-Term (January 2027 to December 2027)
  • Location: Wentworth, Surrey, with travel across the UK and Ireland

The European Tour Group is one of the world's leading golf organisations. We are responsible for the DP World Tour, HotelPlanner Tour and Staysure Legends Tour, and alongside the PGA of America, we co-organise golf's greatest team competition, the Ryder Cup.

At the heart of our sustainability strategy is Golf for Good, our commitment to delivering lasting positive impact in the communities, countries and destinations we visit. Through Golf for Good, we work closely with tournaments, venues, partners, charities and local organisations to drive meaningful outcomes across two key pillars:

  • Environmental Responsibility
  • Community Impact

We're looking for a passionate and proactive Community Impact Manager to help deliver this vision.

The Opportunity:

As Community Impact Manager, you will play a leading role in delivering the community and health pillars of the Golf for Good programme. You will be responsible for designing and delivering impactful grassroots golf, education, health and charity initiatives across selected DP World Tour events and markets.

Working as part of the Sustainability & Impact team, you'll build and manage partnerships that bring expertise, investment and innovation into our programmes, ensuring every activation creates meaningful benefits for local communities.

This is a hands-on role that combines project management, stakeholder engagement and event delivery. You'll work closely with colleagues across Championship Management, Marketing, Content, Digital and Strategy, while building strong relationships with schools, community organisations, governing bodies, charitable partners and commercial stakeholders.

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with a wide range of people and is passionate about creating positive social impact through sport.

The role involves regular travel across the UK, Ireland and Europe, including attendance at tournaments and events. Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends is required, with Time Off in Lieu (TOIL) provided where applicable.

Key Responsibilities:

Programme Delivery

  • Plan, coordinate and deliver community impact and grassroots activations across selected DP World Tour tournaments.
  • Lead on-site programme delivery, ensuring activations are executed safely, professionally and to a high standard.
  • Act as an ambassador for the DP World Tour and Golf for Good programme at events and community engagements.
  • Facilitate activities and confidently engage with groups of varying sizes, including schools, young people, volunteers and community participants.

Partnership & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, charities, community organisations, golf federations, event promoters and commercial partners.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure successful programme planning and delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the reach and impact of Golf for Good initiatives across our tournament portfolio.
  • Support delivery partners and suppliers in creating meaningful social and environmental outcomes at events.

Project Management & Reporting

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously across different regions and markets.
  • Produce event briefings, stakeholder communications, programme materials and post-event reports.
  • Track programme outcomes and support the production of annual impact reporting.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets and delivery milestones to ensure successful execution.
  • Support invoicing and other administrative processes associated with programme delivery.

About You:

You'll be an organised, relationship-focused professional with a passion for community engagement and the ability to turn ideas into impactful programmes.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrable experience delivering projects or programmes involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience working within sport, events, community engagement, sustainability, education or charitable sectors.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to represent an organisation externally.
  • Comfortable speaking to groups, delivering presentations and facilitating activities in both formal and informal settings.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative approach.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience working across multiple European and/or international markets, with the ability to adapt communication and engagement approaches for different cultural contexts and audiences.
  • Experience developing or delivering community, education, health or sustainability programmes.
  • Understanding of basic budget management, invoicing and financial administration processes.
  • An interest in golf and its potential to create positive social impact.

Why Join Us?

This is a unique opportunity to help shape the positive legacy of one of the world's leading sports organisations. You'll play a key role in delivering impactful programmes that inspire communities, support participation in golf and create meaningful social outcomes across the countries and communities we visit.

If you're passionate about making a difference through sport and enjoy working with people, partnerships and purpose-driven projects, we'd love to hear from you.
