Rush Street Interactive (NYSE: RSI) is a market leader in online casino and sports betting, currently operating real-money gaming with our brands: BetRivers.com, PlaySugarHouse.com, and RushBet.co. We’re building bridges between online, social and land-based gaming businesses to create amazing, integrated experiences that keep players in the game.
The Community Manager — Sports & Entertainment is responsible for managing, engaging, and growing Rushbet's online communities across social media platforms in México. The role shapes the brand's tone and daily presence within the sports, entertainment, and online gaming categories, ensuring content is dynamic, authentic, aligned with marketing objectives, and compliant with the regulations of a licensed betting brand. The position sits within the Brand & Content team and works closely with copywriters, designers, the talent/creator team, paid media, and the creative team.
What You'll Do:
Develop and execute social media and community strategies tailored to Mexican sports and entertainment audiences.
Manage the brand's daily social media presence (Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Threads), promoting interaction and audience growth.
Create, curate, and schedule relevant and engaging content that reflects the brand's identity and tone, executing the content calendar in coordination with the Brand & Content team.
Monitor and participate in real time in conversations around sports, entertainment, and gaming — match days, trending moments, and fan culture — identifying opportunities to engage.
Act as the authentic voice of the brand, ensuring consistent communication across all digital touchpoints and adapting tone to Mexican sports and internet culture.
Collaborate with Design, Content, Paid Media, and Brand teams to ensure campaign alignment and maximize impact, following the team's creative approval workflows.
Coordinate with the talent/creator team on the publication, amplification, and performance follow-up of brand ambassador and influencer content.
Ensure every published interaction and piece complies with México's advertising regulations (SEGOB) and responsible gaming guidelines — in a licensed betting brand, community management is a regulated touchpoint.
Analyze and report community performance metrics, engagement levels, and sentiment insights to guide content strategies.
Manage reputation and crisis communication across channels when necessary, escalating according to the team's protocols.
Stay up to date on social media trends, Mexican sports culture, and industry best practices, especially within sports betting and casino marketing.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Advertising, or related disciplines (or equivalent experience).
4+ years managing social media communities for sports, entertainment, or online gaming brands.
Proven understanding of Mexican sports audiences and fan engagement (Liga MX, national team, boxing, NFL fandom), preferably within sports betting or casino categories.
Native command of Mexican Spanish and deep fluency in Mexican internet and sports culture; based in México with authorization to work in the country.
Strong storytelling and copywriting skills adaptable to each platform's formats and codes.
Proficiency in social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later, Meta Business Suite, or similar).
Experience using social media analytics tools and preparing performance reports.
Ability to design and execute content calendars and engagement initiatives.
Sound judgment for real-time publishing in a regulated industry — knowing what the brand can and cannot say.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
English proficiency: B1–B2 — sufficient for internal coordination and content review.
Passion for sports, entertainment, and digital culture, with a proactive and trend-driven mindset.
Desirable: experience handling reputation or crisis situations in high-visibility accounts.
The role requires ongoing awareness of gaming advertising regulations and responsible gaming guidelines in México (SEGOB), including what a licensed betting brand can publish and how it may engage publicly with its audience.
