Description

Take the Lead. Own the Work. Build Something Great.

At Heritage Hill , we're growing, and we're looking for a hands-on Construction Foreman who knows how to take charge, solve problems, and deliver quality work.

As our multifamily portfolio continues to expand, we're looking for leaders who take ownership, lead by example, and aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves. You'll be the go-to person on-site, making decisions, coordinating subcontractors, and keeping projects moving while partnering with a Construction Manager who oversees multiple locations.

If you're a natural problem-solver who takes pride in getting the job done right, we want to meet you!

What You'll Do

  • Take charge on-site: Lead daily construction activities and make decisions to keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Lead by example: Coordinate crews and subcontractors, set clear expectations, and hold everyone accountable for quality work.
  • Own the details: Monitor project progress, materials, workmanship, and timelines to ensure work meets company standards.
  • Solve problems: Identify challenges early, make sound decisions independently, and escalate larger issues when needed.
  • Roll up your sleeves: This isn't a clipboard-only role! Be ready to jump in with light carpentry, repairs, punch-list items, site cleanup, and other hands-on tasks—big or small—to keep projects moving.
  • Keep safety first: Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites while reinforcing safety and quality standards.
  • Stay connected: Communicate project updates, challenges, and progress to the Construction Manager and other team members.

What's In It for You?

  • Growth Opportunities: Build your skills and advance your career as our company continues to expand.
  • Performance-Based Bonuses: Get recognized and rewarded for the results you help deliver.
  • Meaningful Work: See the direct impact of your work as we improve and transform apartment communities.
  • A Team That Has Your Back: Work alongside people who value teamwork, integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Real Ownership: Have the freedom to make decisions, solve problems, and take pride in the results.

Requirements

What You Bring

  • Hands-on experience in construction, renovations, or a related trade.
  • Previous experience leading crews, coordinating subcontractors, or overseeing job-site activities.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Basic carpentry, repair, and general handyman skills.
  • Comfortable performing physical work, handling tools, and taking on the smaller tasks that come with keeping a job site running smoothly.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and pride in workmanship.
  • A strong work ethic, personal accountability, and the ability to hold others to high standards.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel between job sites and handle job-related errands.
  • Ability to consistently lift up to 75 pounds as required by the role.

Bonus Points For:

  • Residential or multifamily construction and renovation experience.
  • Experience coordinating project schedules, materials, and multiple subcontractors.
