Construction Safety Intern (Summer 2027)

The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator and willing to travel to construction projects nationwide.

A Day in the Life:

We are looking for a highly motivated College Safety Intern/Co-op, who is passionate about the construction process to join our team. At ARCO, an Intern/Co-op has the opportunity to assist Safety Managers with the following:

Visit Jobsites and get hands on experience from our expert field personnel on projects in a variety of industries including distribution, office, foodservice, multi-family housing, entertainment and more.

Hone your safety skills working directly with an experienced Safety Manager on design/build construction projects clients including Fortune 500 companies, award winning commercial real estate developers and small business end users.

Make a meaningful contribution to ARCO’s success by performing critical safety related tasks.

Necessary Qualifications:

Minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 out of 4.0.

Enrolled in Environmental Health and Safety programs, or other related degree programs.

Co-op or Intern construction experience preferred, but not required.

Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic.

Ability to travel nationwide to visit projects.

Possess and maintain a current, valid driver license in your state of residence
