Associate Consultant, Digital Adoption & Change

Shape How People Experience Digital Transformation

Technology alone doesn’t transform organizations, people do.

At ERM, we help global organizations successfully adopt new technologies, systems, and ways of working. We're looking for an early-career consultant who is curious about technology, passionate about helping people learn and adapt, and excited to contribute to meaningful transformation initiatives.

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of digital adoption, learning, change management, and user experience. You'll collaborate with experienced consultants, subject matter experts, and client teams to design practical solutions that help employees embrace new tools, processes, and ways of working.

Whether you're creating engaging learning experiences, analyzing user needs, supporting change initiatives, or developing in-application guidance, you'll play a key role in helping organizations turn transformation strategies into lasting adoption and measurable business outcomes.

Why This Role Matters?

Organizations are investing heavily in digital transformation, but success depends on whether people actually adopt and use new technologies effectively.

As an Associate Consultant, you'll help bridge the gap between technology and people by designing learning, communication, and digital adoption solutions that make change easier, more engaging, and more successful. Your work will directly influence how users experience new systems and help organizations realize the value of their transformation investments.

What Your Impact Is:

  • Support clients through technology-enabled transformation initiatives.
  • Help design learning experiences that improve user understanding, confidence, and adoption.
  • Analyze user workflows, business processes, and support needs to identify adoption opportunities.
  • Contribute to digital adoption strategies that enable successful implementation of new technologies.
  • Develop user-focused content including digital learning, communications, job aids, and performance support resources.
  • Support stakeholder engagement and change activities that build readiness and encourage behavioral change.
  • Work alongside experienced consultants and subject matter experts to solve complex business challenges.
  • Contribute to the growth of ERM's Digital Change & Transformation practice.

What You'll Bring:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Organizational Development, Learning & Development, Change Management, Business, Communications, Human Resources, Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Interest in digital transformation, technology adoption, learning, organizational change, or user experience.
  • Ability to analyze information and translate business requirements into practical user-focused solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Curiosity about emerging technologies, digital innovation, and AI-enabled ways of working.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

Preferred

  • Experience developing digital learning solutions using Articulate 360 or similar platforms.
  • Exposure to digital adoption platforms such as WalkMe or comparable technologies.
  • Experience supporting change management, organizational development, or transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments, and communications planning.
  • Experience creating learning materials, job aids, guides, or employee communications.
  • Familiarity with user experience principles, workflow analysis, or performance support solutions.
  • Exposure to sustainability, ESG, or enterprise transformation programs.
  • Change management certifications (Prosci, APMG, or equivalent).
  • Previous consulting experience, internships, or project-based client work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality consulting work that meets expectations for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Support the design and implementation of digital adoption, change management, and learning solutions.
  • Analyze business processes, user journeys, workflows, and stakeholder needs to identify adoption challenges and opportunities.
  • Develop digital learning content, in-application guidance, communications, job aids, and other performance support materials.
  • Support the configuration and content development of digital adoption platforms where required.
  • Coordinate project activities and workstreams within larger transformation programs.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, subject matter experts, technology teams, and ERM consultants.
  • Contribute to proposals, research, workshops, presentations, and solution development activities.
  • Support stakeholder engagement initiatives that encourage adoption, readiness, and behavioral change.
  • Build consulting expertise across digital adoption, learning, change management, and technology-enabled transformation.
  • Strengthen internal networks and contribute to the ongoing evolution of ERM's Digital Change & Transformation capabilities.
