Consulting Manager

JOB SUMMARY

• UHY Consulting is seeking a Finance Transformation Manager or Senior Manager to join our growing team in Atlanta. This role will lead and deliver finance transformation initiatives for clients across multiple industries, with a focus on shared services, close optimization, and core accounting processes.
• The ideal candidate brings strong consulting experience, deep finance expertise, and a passion for improving how finance organizations operate.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

• •Lead finance transformation engagements from strategy through execution
• •Assess current-state finance and accounting operations and identify improvement opportunities
• •Design and implement shared services models and operating structures
• •Drive month-end close optimization initiatives, including process redesign and automation
• •Improve core accounting processes, controls, and reporting capabilities
• •Partner with client stakeholders (CFOs, Controllers, Finance Leaders) to align transformation initiatives with business goals
• •Manage project teams, timelines, and deliverables to ensure high-quality client outcomes
• •Support business development efforts, including proposals and client presentations
• •Mentor and develop junior team members

Qualifications

• •Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
• •5–10+ years (Manager) or 10–15+ years (Senior Manager) of relevant experience
• •Prior consulting experience strongly preferred
• •Deep expertise in:
• •Finance and Accounting Operations
• •Shared services design and implementation
• •Month-end close and record-to-report processes

• •Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar a plus)
• •Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• •Proven ability to lead teams and manage client relationships
• •Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
