Job Title: Content Developer

Location : Mississauga, Canada (Hybrid)

As a Content Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality, technically accurate, and audience-focused learning experiences that deliver significant value to our internal teams, customers, and partners. You will combine technical expertise with a passion for learning to develop engaging training content that helps others build their knowledge and skills.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct technical research, product exploration, and hands-on testing to develop deep subject matter expertise
  • Design, develop, and maintain technically accurate learning experiences that transform complex technical subjects into effective educational outcomes.
  • Create compelling learning exercises and activities aligned to the subject and design.
  • Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand business needs, validate technical accuracy, and ensure learning effectiveness.
  • Develop learning experiences aligned to a variety of deliverable types (instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, web-based learning, videos, etc)
  • Own learning projects throughout the full development lifecycle, from intake and needs analysis through validation, release, and change management.
  • Proactively collaborate across Content Development, Instructional Design, Principal Instruction, and Training Leadership functions to deliver cohesive learning experiences, ensuring alignment, effective handoffs, and shared ownership of learner success
  • Validate learning experiences through technical review, stakeholder feedback, learner feedback, and continuous improvement processes.
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of on-premise and cloud production training environments.
  • Contribute to training and enablement strategy by identifying opportunities to improve learner performance, scalability, and content quality.
  • Continuously expand expertise across the SOTI One Platform, including new features and evolving use cases.

Experience You’ll Bring

  • Experience in mobile, Cloud, client-server, or other enterprise technologies. 3-5 years of related work portfolio experience
  • Experience in or knowledge of Mobile Device Management as well as Server and Cloud infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and master new technologies, products, and technical domains with minimal assistance.
  • Ability to analyze complex systems and break them down into logical, explainable concepts.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills to effectively work with team members, peers, and stakeholders
  • Willingness to embrace change and process improvements to streamline work processes
  • Ability to concurrently work on multiple projects and remain flexible to adapt to changing requirements and priorities
  • Become proficient in all SOTI One platform products (SME in several)

Additional Assets:

  • Experience creating professional learning assets (PowerPoint, written guides, discussion and exploration activities, videos etc...)
  • Windows Enterprise Software knowledge
  • Enterprise Mobility Management knowledge
  • Any other additional programming languages
  • Knowledgeable of learning methodologies and adult learning best practices
  • Previous experience designing, developing, or delivering technical learning experiences, documentation or learning plans.
