The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Content Marketing Manager who can turn complex ideas into content people actually want to read, watch, share, and act on.
This is not a traditional content production role. You’ll help shape our content strategy and bring it to life across the CRE buyer journey - from the big ideas that establish our point of view to the practical content that helps prospects understand our product and customers make better decisions.
You’ll bring both strong writing skills and creative instincts to the role. Great content isn't always written content. You’ll determine the right format and creative treatment for an idea - whether that’s an article, LinkedIn post, customer story, carousel, infographic, short-form video, webinar, interactive experience, or something we haven’t tried yet. You should be comfortable creating simple visual assets yourself and partnering with designers or other creative resources when an idea calls for deeper production.
AI will be a meaningful part of how you work. You’ll use AI to research faster, develop ideas, create and repurpose assets, personalize content, and increase your output - while bringing the judgment, voice, creativity, and perspective that AI cannot provide on its own.
You’ll work closely with product marketing, demand generation, sales, subject-matter experts, and leadership to turn what we know into content that builds awareness, earns trust, and contributes to the pipeline.
What You'll Own
Build and Execute a Content Strategy
Help develop and execute a content strategy aligned to company priorities, ICPs, product launches, and revenue goals.
Identify high-value topics and perspectives, turning customer insights, product knowledge, market trends, and internal expertise into differentiated content.
Manage the editorial roadmap across channels, audiences, and stages of the buyer journey.
Write and edit content across formats including thought leadership, articles, customer stories, email, social, webinars, sales enablement, and website content.
Think Creatively About Format
Start with the idea, audience, and desired outcome - not a predetermined content format.
Determine the best way to bring an idea to life, whether through written, visual, interactive, video, or social content.
Create lightweight visual assets yourself using tools such as Canva, Figma, Adobe, or AI-powered creative tools. (Will leverage outside agencies for larger projects.)
Use AI as a Force Multiplier
Use AI throughout the content workflow - research, ideation, outlining, drafting, editing, repurposing, creative development, and distribution.
Develop repeatable AI-assisted workflows that improve content velocity without sacrificing quality.
Experiment with emerging AI tools and identify practical ways to make the marketing team more effective.
Understand where AI-generated content falls short and apply strong editorial and creative judgment to make the final product genuinely differentiated.
Make Content Discoverable
Partner with SEO and growth teams to create content that performs in traditional search as well as emerging AI-driven discovery environments.
Use search, customer, competitive, and performance data to identify content opportunities.
Optimize and refresh existing content based on performance and changing search behavior.
Think in terms of content ecosystems and topics rather than treating every piece as a standalone asset.
Connect Content to Business Outcomes
Partner with Demand Gen to turn high-performing content into campaigns and pipeline opportunities.
Work with Sales to create content that helps reps start conversations, educate prospects, and move deals forward.
Measure content performance across engagement, traffic, conversion, influenced pipeline, and other relevant metrics.
Continuously test, learn, refresh, and improve the content portfolio.
What Makes a Great Candidate
3+ years of experience in B2B content marketing, editorial, brand, or a related marketing role.
An excellent writer and editor who can make complex subjects clear, interesting, and compelling.
Experience creating content for a defined B2B audience or ICP.
Comfortable interviewing customers, executives, and subject-matter experts.
Working knowledge of SEO and modern content discovery.
Hands-on experience using generative AI tools as part of a professional workflow.
Comfortable creating basic visual assets and social creative independently.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects without losing the quality bar.
Curious, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
Able to balance strategy with execution - you can develop the plan and then roll up your sleeves to make the thing.
How We Think About Content
We don't believe AI replaces great marketers. We believe great marketers who know how to use AI will create better work, move faster, and have more room for creativity.
We're looking for someone who wants to build that kind of content engine - someone who can think strategically, write exceptionally well, spot a great story, turn an idea into the right creative format, move quickly, and use technology to make their work better.
