JOB SUMMARY
Avid is seeking a creative and technically skilled Content Production Manager to develop compelling content that educates, inspires, and engages media professionals. This role sits within the Marketing organization and is responsible for creating industry-specific content, thought leadership, technical demonstrations, and instructional assets that support integrated marketing campaigns, product launches, customer engagement programs, and social media initiatives.
The ideal candidate combines storytelling, technical fluency, and content creation expertise. They are comfortable developing content concepts, filming and editing video, creating product demonstrations, working with subject matter experts, and measuring content performance against defined business objectives. This role requires a highly collaborative individual who can bridge product expertise, industry insights, customer stories, and marketing strategy to produce content that drives awareness, engagement, and demand.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Create industry-focused and technical content that delivers crucial storytelling and ‘so what’ to marketing campaigns, including but not limited to account-based digital marketing, customer lifecycle campaigns, web-based content, and content supporting product development.
Record, write, produce, and edit technical content, tutorials, workflow demonstrations, and "how-to" videos focused on Avid media solutions and post-production workflows.
Create engaging demonstrations, both recorded and live, of Avid media products that help customers understand features, workflows, and best practices through accessible and engaging content.
Support the development of customer success stories, interviews, panel discussions, and educational content featuring industry professionals.
Capture expert insights, testimonials, and customer perspectives that strengthen credibility and demonstrate real-world value.
Optimize content formats and storytelling approaches for channel-specific performance and multiple campaigns.
Collaborate on content calendars and campaign activation plans.
Manage content production processes from concept through final delivery, including filming, recording, editing, and packaging video content, graphics, screenshots, and supporting assets.
Deliver production-ready materials and creative briefs to Avid's Creative team for final design, formatting, and campaign deployment
Ensure content assets are delivered on time and as promised for campaigns, including adding content IDs to track performance.
Track content performance and effectiveness against campaign objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Analyze engagement, consumption, conversion, and audience insights to improve future content strategies; recommend optimizations based on performance data and feedback.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
At least 3 years of experience in content marketing, content production, video production, digital marketing, or a related role.
Experience creating content across multiple channels and formats, including video, social media, educational content, and thought leadership.
Strong video recording and editing skills using professional editing tools.
Experience developing product demonstrations, tutorials, or technical educational content.
Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Comfortable interviewing subject matter experts, customers, and industry professionals.
Experience measuring content performance and optimizing content based on data and business objectives.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and content distribution best practices.
Familiarity with campaign-driven marketing and integrated content planning.
Preferred:
Experience in media, broadcast, film, television, post-production, or creative technology industries.
Hands-on experience with Avid Media Composer, Pro Tools or other relevant Avid products.
Working knowledge of post-production workflows and media technology.
Experience managing YouTube channels or video-focused social programs.
Familiarity with content analytics and marketing performance tools.

Pay Range US - $82,000 - $123,000 USD
Pay Range Canada - $71,731 - $107,597 CAD
The salary range shown reflects the company's good faith full target range for this position at the time of posting. The company may update or modify this range at any time and endeavors to keep this posting current. Compensation decisions are based on factors including geographic location, experience, skills, education, and business needs. While the full range is posted for transparency, offers are typically made within the lower to middle portion of the range.
