Transform performance. Protect the environment.

At Anglian Water, we're committed to delivering exceptional service for our customers while protecting the environment we all depend on. We're looking for a proactive and driven Continuous Improvement Lead to join our Water Recycling team and help shape the future of our pollution reduction and environmental improvement programmes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to influence business-wide change, work alongside senior stakeholders, and play a key role in delivering regulatory and environmental outcomes that make a real difference across our region.

What you'll be doing

As a Continuous Improvement Lead, you'll be at the heart of identifying, driving and embedding improvements across our Water Recycling business. You'll lead investigations, coordinate improvement plans, and use data-led insights to develop meaningful solutions to operational challenges.

Working closely with operational teams, analysts and stakeholders across the business, you'll:

-Lead continuous improvement initiatives that help reduce environmental incidents and improve operational performance.

-Coordinate and facilitate reviews following pollution events, ensuring actions are identified, tracked and delivered.

-Own and support delivery of pollution reduction improvement plans.

-Analyse complex data sets and translate findings into clear, evidence-based reports and recommendations.

-Challenge existing practices and influence positive change across multiple teams.

-Develop strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders.

-Support the preparation and publication of key regulatory and environmental submissions.

-Drive a culture of innovation, learning and continuous improvement.

What does success look like?

You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly. You'll be comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on delivery and will enjoy solving complex problems while maintaining focus on long-term outcomes.

We're looking for someone who can confidently challenge, influence and collaborate to achieve the best results for customers, communities and the environment.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

-Experience leading business improvement, change or operational improvement initiatives.

-Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly.

-Excellent written communication skills, including producing detailed reports and business cases.

-Experience working with and influencing senior stakeholders.

-Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking capability.

-The ability to remain calm and resilient when managing competing priorities.

-A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.

It would be great if you also have:

-Experience within utilities, operational environments or regulated industries

Why Anglian Water?

People are at the heart of everything we do. In return for your expertise, you'll receive a competitive salary and benefits package, along with the opportunity to develop your career across one of the UK's largest and most innovative water companies.

You'll join a supportive team where your ideas are valued, your development is encouraged, and your work genuinely contributes to protecting our environment and enhancing our customers' experience.

Closing Date: Tuesday 27th October 2026

Interviews held: 6th November 2026

Love every drop and help us build a more resilient future for our region.
