The Continuous Improvement Specialist will oversee the examination and evaluation of the organization's processes and operational procedures to ensure they are both compliant and efficient. This is a professional who drives the continuous improvement of processes to increase efficiency, effectiveness, quality, and scalability. They analyze process performance and operational data to identify improvement opportunities, eliminate waste, and enhance quality, efficiency, and customer outcome. This may involve collaborating with various departments to implement standardized procedures and coordinating with financial teams. They also develop process documentation, performance measures, and standardized work practices that support operational consistency. They facilitate the optimization of procedures, identify, and eliminate inefficiency, and partner with stakeholders to design, implement, and sustain process improvements that align with organizational objectives and applicable requirements. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented with outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities. Their expertise will enable the business to operate towards optimal efficiency by reducing risks and boosting compliance, leading to improved operational performance.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Performing routine internal audits on operational processes.
- Identifying and assessing areas of significant business risk.
- Identifying areas of process inefficiency and proposing innovative solutions.
- Championing process improvement projects and managing implementation of the same.
- Develop and present data-driven recommendations, project updates, and improvement outcomes to leadership.
- Support process governance activities by helping ensure operational procedures align with organizational standards and applicable requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Business Administration or Quality Systems or equivalent experience.[AK1] [BW2]
- Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, project management and excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Experience working on a process improvement team is preferred.
Description of Physical Working Environment:
Normal office environment. Routinely works from a sitting position with a computer. Repetitive typing and computer use required. Regular bending, twisting, and light lifting is common with or without reasonable accommodation.
