Pay Range:

$23.61 - $33.03 The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.

Job Description

The Kinetic Group is a world leader in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of small caliber ammunition under the iconic brands B&P, CCI, Federal Premium, Fiocchi, HEVI, Remington and Speer. We have domestic ammunition manufacturing facilities in Minnesota, Idaho, Arkansas, and Missouri, and service law enforcement, government agencies and sporting enthusiasts throughout the world. Today, The Kinetic Group is a part of the Ammo+ division of The Czechoslovak Group (CSG), which holds a diverse portfolio of companies in the defense, security, automotive, aerospace and rail industries.

Remington is seeking a Continuous Improvement Technician to assist Continuous Improvement (CI) professionals and other site employees in the execution of kaizen activities through builds in the CI shop and the Print Shop.

The application of lean concepts, problem solving skills and good communication will be central to this position.

This position reports to the Director of Continuous Improvement and is located out of our office in Lonoke, Arkansas .

You have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of technical/mechanical experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Knowledge of production processes preferred
  • Good problem solving skills and analytical ability
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic writing and math skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Personal computer skills; including Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Hands on experience using basic hand tools and power tools preferred
  • Experience working cross functionally with many teams to accomplish a shared goal
  • Driver’s license required

You might also have:

  • Experience in AutoCAD or similar design programs
  • Experience with Graphtec or similar software
  • Forklift and scissorlift experience

As the Continuous Improvement Technician, you will:

  • Assist in key process improvement assignments both mechanical and administrative
  • Complete kaizen shop work orders and CI team requests
  • Perform print shop related duties
  • Support implementation of new processes and improve current processes within the facility
  • Measuring the performance of improvements
  • Support 5S and kaizen event activities
  • Other duties as assigned

Work Environment:

Employee work assignments may include tasks working with and/or exposure to potentially hazardous areas, including flammables and explosives. Safety training is provided to all employees to ensure compliance with company and federal regulations.
