Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Transactional Paralegals to support a leading law firm client on a temporary basis. This role will assist attorneys with a variety of corporate and transactional matters, with a preference for candidates who have exposure to real estate transactions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced law firm environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support attorneys in all phases of transactional matters
- Prepare, review, organize, and maintain transaction-related documentation
- Assist with due diligence, document management, and closing activities
- Coordinate signature collection and execution of legal documents
- Track transaction milestones, deadlines, and deliverables
- Manage electronic and physical deal files
- Conduct legal, corporate, and property-related research as needed
- Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and internal stakeholders
- Provide administrative and project support for multiple ongoing matters
Qualifications
- 3+ years of transactional paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department
- Experience supporting corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, or other commercial matters
- Real estate transaction experience preferred
- Strong document management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Paralegal certificate preferred but not required
Work Arrangement
- Onsite in New York City Monday through Friday
- Immediate availability preferred
Ideal Candidate
- Prior law firm experience
- Experience supporting high-volume transactional practices
- Comfortable working independently while managing multiple matters simultaneously
The Compensation range for this role is $30.00 to 40.00 hourly. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
