Contract Senior Full Stack Developer – Java 21 / React / AWS

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer.

The role is to build a new Forms capability consisting of a Java 21 / Spring Boot 3 backend service and a React / Vite / TanStack frontend portal, both deployed as containers on AWS EKS.

The solution will reuse existing platform services for users, projects, project assignments, document storage/S3, Cognito authentication and SES email, integrating with them through REST APIs and JWT.

Forms will be hard-coded for each use case, rather than generated dynamically from configuration. For each reporting period, the system will create a single immutable submission snapshot, with no version history. Project totals will only be updated once a submission is approved, using a single transactional update.

The application should use one common, scheme-independent codebase, with lightweight configuration applied for each deployment. Production deployments will be separated as required, while lower environments may support multiple configurations.

This is a contract of 1 month with 1 month extension possible. 

The contractor must be UK-based and eligible to obtain BPSS clearance.
