Description

Southbridge Corporate Office | Southbridge, MA | Operations

Savers Bank is looking for a Core Banking Systems Administrator to help our teams get the most from the technology they use every day. You’ll be a key resource for our COCC INSIGHT core banking platform and connected applications, working across departments to solve problems, improve workflows, support upgrades, and keep critical systems running smoothly.

This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys both the technical details and the people behind them. You’ll listen to what employees need, investigate how the systems work, and take ownership of moving issues and projects forward.

Why Savers Bank?

At Savers, your work will have a visible impact. You’ll partner with people across the Bank, help them serve customers more effectively, and have the opportunity to improve how our systems and processes work together. If you like being a trusted resource, learning what technology can do, and turning a hard-to-solve problem into a better way of working, you’ll find plenty to explore here.

What you’ll do

  • Own the investigation. Troubleshoot core system and application issues, work with COCC and other vendors, track open cases, and keep the right people informed through resolution.
  • Make the most of our systems. Administer and support COCC INSIGHT, CollaborateNOW, iDentifi, and applications connected to the core.
  • Connect needs with solutions. Partner with departments to understand their work, explore available functionality, and recommend practical improvements.
  • Move projects forward. Coordinate or participate in upgrades, testing, integrations, implementations, forms updates, and new functionality.
  • Protect access and data. Manage approved user access and permissions, support access reviews, and follow established security and internal-control procedures.
  • Improve the everyday experience. Build or enhance reports, dashboards, documentation, and workflows that help teams work accurately and efficiently.
  • Share what you learn. Translate technical information into clear guidance and training for employees who rely on the Bank’s systems.

You’ll work closely with the EVP, Chief Operating Officer, department leaders, technology and information-security resources, COCC support teams, and other vendors.

Requirements

What you’ll bring

  • At least three years of relevant experience in banking operations, financial-services technology, application support, systems administration, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting a core banking system, banking application, or other complex business application.
  • A record of investigating issues, working with vendors or support teams, and following through for end users.
  • Experience with system upgrades, testing, implementations, integrations, or process improvements.
  • Curiosity, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the initiative to look beyond the first answer.
  • The ability to organize competing priorities, document your work, and explain technical issues clearly to people with different levels of system knowledge.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

COCC INSIGHT experience is especially valuable. We also welcome candidates who have worked with Fiserv DNA or another core banking platform.

If you know banking systems, enjoy digging for answers, and want to take ownership of work that helps an entire bank operate better, we’d like to meet you.
