Boliden is a high-tech metals company with its own mines and smelters that works long-term to guarantee society's access to base and precious metals. For a century, our work has been part of the value chains that have shaped modern society. At Boliden, we know that the metals we mine and make available will continue to play a crucial role in the future – what matters is how we produce them. Become a part of us and drive change for generations to come.
Your opportunity
Are you passionate about communications and ready to make a real impact? Based at our head office in central Stockholm, you will join Europe’s leading provider of base metals essential to improve society for generations to come.
As Corporate Communications Specialist, you will shape and drive Boliden’s corporate, financial and sustainability communications. Working closely with senior leaders, you will take ownership of key communication initiatives, lead the production of the Annual and Sustainability Report, and support investor-related communication activities.
This is a highly visible role for an experienced and self-driven communicator who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys creating communication that strengthens trust, engagement and Boliden’s reputation.
Who you will work with
You will report to the Head of Corporate Communications and join the Group Communications team, consisting of 10 communication specialists. As project manager for the Annual and Sustainability Report, you will work closely with colleagues across the organization and build a broad internal network.
What you will do
- Lead and own the production of Boliden’s Annual and Sustainability Report, driving the process from planning and content development through to publication.
- Act as a strategic communication partner and provide communication support related to interim reports, capital market days, annual general meetings and other key corporate communication activities.
- Develop, review and refine communication materials for Group Management and Business Area leadership.
- Ensure consistency, quality and alignment across corporate, financial and sustainability communications.
- Build strong relationships across the organization and proactively identify communication opportunities that strengthen engagement, transparency and trust.
- Contribute to the development of Boliden’s corporate communication practices, channels and processes.
- Collaborate with colleagues within Group Communications while independently driving initiatives and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Support activities related to investor relations and external stakeholder engagement.
What you bring
We are looking for a self-driven and proactive communicator with the ability to independently lead complex projects and navigate a stakeholder-rich environment. You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and have a strong sense of ownership for your work.
You also bring:
- A university degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience from corporate communications, financial communications, sustainability communications or related communication disciplines.
- Proven ability to independently manage and deliver communication projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience collaborating with senior leaders.
- Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills in both Swedish and English.
- A valid B-class driver’s license.
It is considered an advantage if you also have:
- Experience from a listed company, an industrial environment, or investor-related communications.
- Experience working with InDesign and utilizing AI tools in communication work.
