Summary:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Business, Advertising, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
- One (1) or more years of experience, including applicable internships, in:
- Public Relations
- Marketing
- Marketing Communications
- Social Media
- Journalism
- Advertising
- Healthcare, consulting, or agency experience preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of organizational and internal communications principles.
- Experience in news writing, editing, speech writing, and/or employee communications.
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- Strong knowledge of AP Style and editorial best practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading abilities.
- Strong storytelling and content development skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Effective project management, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Creativity and innovative thinking in communication strategies and content development.
- Strong time-management skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in documenting, maintaining, and managing communications content.
- Understanding of HIPAA/PHI requirements and the importance of confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently under general supervision while exercising sound judgment.
