• Key job responsibilities
• - Providing strategic guidance on regulatory matters (in particular compliance with new laws) and new industry and business developments
• - Provide strategic guidance and legal counsel on a variety of transactions
• - Closely cooperating with business and legal stakeholders across Amazon Global Media and Entertainment
• - Some travel may be required

• A day in the life
• You will be the primary legal support for many Amazon Music business clients in North America and globally. You will directly advise the Amazon Music businesses on a broad range of matters, focusing on regulatory guidance. You will work as the lead lawyer on strategic projects, providing day-to-day advice to the business on a wide range of legal areas and new business initiatives. You will be asked to develop innovative solutions to novel legal questions.

Basic qualifications

• - 5+ years of post bar admission legal experience
• - Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
• - Knowledge of the ethical considerations surrounding AI in the legal context, such as confidentiality, accuracy, and bias prevention

Preferred qualifications

• - Experience advising clients on IP, technology, entertainment, and/or consumer law issues
• - Excellent analytical and communication skills and the ability to act as business partner
• - Ability to develop creative and pragmatic solutions to novel legal questions
• - Good judgment in ambiguous and fast-moving situations
• - Ability to deliver results independently as well as collaboratively
• - Ability to remain nimble, learn, be curious, and adapt to a changing world

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
