Job Summary



 Para support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Cost Accountant, located in Guadalajara.

Reporting to the Controller , the Cost Accountant role is responsible for preparing and maintaining accounting records, as well as investigating and interpreting those records to provide advice or prepare financial statements.

A typical day looks like:

• •Perform periodic reviews of the Profit and Loss (P&L) account to ensure all postings have been made in accordance with defined policies, processes, and procedures.
• •Compare actual results against the forecast/quotation and ensure variances are properly investigated and any necessary adjustments are made in the accounting records. Gather business reasons for any remaining variances and report them appropriately.
• •Review accounts periodically to identify potential risks and ensure they are properly mitigated.
• •Ensure all activities related to financial closing and reporting are properly planned and executed in a timely and accurate manner.
• •Work with relevant teams to prepare the forecast/budget for related accounts.
• •Collaborate with the operations team to improve operational and business metrics.
• •Be familiar with relevant accounting, regulatory, and reporting requirements.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• •Intermediate to advanced English.
• •Basic knowledge of finance and accounting concepts.
• •Good written and verbal communication skills.
• •Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Excel.
