Concept Rehab is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) basis, providing occupational therapy services within a network of skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities throughout the greater Dayton, Ohio area.
We offer flexible scheduling, preferred work locations, and the opportunity to work with supportive rehabilitation teams dedicated to helping patients achieve their highest level of independence and function.
Service Areas
PRN opportunities are currently available throughout:
- Dayton
- Kettering
- Centerville
- Yellow Springs
- Waynesville
Clinicians are not expected to cover every location . Facility assignments are based on your preferences, availability, and geographic convenience whenever possible.
Position Summary
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with Occupational Therapists and interdisciplinary care teams to help patients regain skills, improve functional performance, and maximize independence in daily activities.
This role offers the flexibility to pick up hours based on your availability while making a meaningful impact on the lives of residents in skilled nursing and rehabilitation settings.

Requirements
Responsibilities
- Deliver skilled occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a supervising Occupational Therapist
- Assist patients in improving performance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and functional mobility tasks
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Educate patients, families, caregivers, and facility staff
- Recommend adaptive equipment and therapeutic interventions as appropriate
- Support patient safety, independence, and quality of life
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Associate Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current Ohio Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with patients, families, facility personnel, and interdisciplinary teams
- Strong clinical reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to exceptional patient care and customer service
- Ability to complete documentation accurately and meet productivity expectations
