The Customer Service Representative role is a key customer touchpoint, responsible for accurate and smooth customer interactions. This position requires strong multitasking skills while demonstrating professionalism, honesty and respect, this role helps deliver exceptional customer experience and reinforces the Heritage Family of Companies reputation for quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Effectively interacting with customers through phone and email always maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor.

Customer Credit Invoices

Vendor Credits

Customer Calls requesting order status (where is my order)

Maintaining log audit trail with weekly reporting of events

Product Warranty Issues

Strong Background in Problem Solving

Quick Resolution A Must

Detail Oriented and Proficient Communicator

Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Adherence to safety standards

Issue RGA (return authorizations) for warehouse and vendor shipment returns

Other duties as assigned

Direct Manager:

Reports directly to the Operations Manager

Travel Requirements:

Travel for Customer Service Representative position is not a requirement; all duties and responsibilities are performed on-site at the Louisville location.

Physical Requirements:

This role operates in both office and warehouse environments and involves extended standing and walking, frequent use of hands for computer and order-processing tasks. It requires clear verbal communication and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-moving setting. Working Conditions:

Position is an on-site role at our sales location, offering a dynamic environment with direct customer and team interaction. It requires adaptability, efficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.

This full-time role runs Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

Minimum Qualifications:

Prior experience in a customer service role is preferred, experience in managing customer relationships with a focus on customer satisfaction, retention and loyalty, ensuring a personalized and positive purchasing experience.

Effective problem-solving skills and resourcefulness in responding to customer inquiries and issues.

Minimum Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required with a preferred education of an associate’s degree in business administration or a related field considered advantageous.

Minimum Years of Work Experience, two years.
