Do you have a passion for crafting products and insights with data to grow the ecommerce business of international Selling Partners on Amazon.com.au? Excited by a globally focused role working with international teams? We are looking for a highly skilled, business savvy, analytical, data-driven and strategic leader to drive and scale Australia's third-party-marketplace for international Selling Partners.

As Country Development Manager, you will be driving programs centrally across varying regions, analyzing data and trends to find opportunities and make recommendations to help increase the selection offered by international Selling Partners in Australia, as well as helping define the strategy and launch critical Tech features to unlock the growth of the business. You will be given opportunities to work with senior stakeholders across the globe, while being a key member of the Amazon Australia local business.

  • Our team operates out of our fabulous CBD office (conveniently located near many transportation options), and from home leveraging technology.
  • Amazon offers employees a competitive remuneration package, including participation in the company stock plan as applicable. We also look after our people with benefits, such as subsidized private health insurance, superannuation and paid parental leave options, amongst others.
  • Key job responsibilities
  • Own the strategy, growth, and performance of one of the largest international seller segments in Amazon Australia's third-party marketplace business. Working as part of the team driving this segment, you will partner across marketing, product, operations, and international seller recruitment teams to grow product selection, expand the seller base, and increase sales in a fast-moving, competitive environment.

- Grow product selection — expand the range of products available to customers.

- Scale the seller base — partner with recruitment and account management teams to attract, onboard, and grow international sellers.

- Accelerate growth — design and execute programs and initiatives that drive seller adoption and sales.

- Shape the product roadmap — translate seller feedback into product and feature priorities that improve the seller and customer experience.

- Lead cross-functional execution — bring together seller-facing, product, finance, and operations teams to deliver results.

  • A day in the life
  • As a member of the Program team, you will deal with a high level of ambiguity. The successful candidate will communicate effectively across teams and levels. Flexibility and ability to prioritize in a changing business environment will also be key. You must be self-directed and able to work autonomously and as a part of a team. Our team culture is collaborative and driven to achieve results. We seek an individual who is motivated by a fast-paced and highly entrepreneurial environment, that can be ‘hands-on’, and that brings analytical horsepower, enhanced BI skills and a deep curiosity about how things work.

Basic qualifications

  • - 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • - 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • - 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • - Bachelor's degree
  • - Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
  • - Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
