Description :Teaching methods and pedagogical resources for programs in ethics and culture in the secondary school.

This course is not Team Taught or offered online.

Teaching Qualification Requirements (TQRs):

Education:

1.A Master’s degree (in exceptional circumstances applicants without a Master’s degree but with significant research or professional experience related to the course content may be considered);

2.A teaching degree or equivalent

Experience:

1.Expert knowledge of course content and secondary ethics and religious pedagogy;

2.Knowledge of the Quebec Education program (QEP) including ERC program

3.Familiarity with the 13 professional competencies specified by the Ministère de l’Éducation.

4.Experience teaching in the Quebec secondary school system.

5.Previous successful experience teaching similar course(s) to pre-service teachers.

Other:

1.A commitment to working with a team of committed and engaged instructors

2.Must be available to attend course coordination and planning meeting minimum of 2 weeks in advance of the course start date
