The Position:

Responsible for overseeing activities of non-cooking kitchen staff during shift. To ensure all restaurant dishes, pots and pans are cleaned in a fast and consistent manner. Assists the supervisor and cooks in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the culinary department. Duties are but not limited to:

• •Responsible for overseeing activities of non-cooking kitchen staff during shift.
• •Ensures a safe and professional environment and monitors use of chemicals.
• •Inspects kitchen, storeroom and walk-in refrigerators to ensure they are neat, clean and orderly.
• •Cleans all restaurant and kitchen equipment, sinks, tables and drains in an orderly and consistent manner.
• •Ensures the cleaning and sanitizing of all walk-in refrigerators. Maintains a clean and safe work area as directed by industry standards.
• •Ensures that all floor mats, floors and walls are properly cleaned.

Requirements

• •High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.
• •1 year experience in working in a similar position required.
• •18 years of age or older.
• •Experience and knowledgeable in MSDS Guidelines required.
• •Able to read and comprehend written instructions.
• •Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
• •Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
• •Current Food Handler or ServSafe Certificate required.
• •Must be able to obtain a Class I Gaming License.
