📈 Who We Are:

We are rebuilding the energy transaction, making it transparent and fair.

We're rebuilding how energy is bought and sold. That means cutting out middlemen, connecting businesses directly with renewable generators, and ensuring every transaction is traceable and transparent .

We're a 160+ person team - operators, data scientists, engineers, customer champions and energy experts - backed by top-tier investors including Lightspeed Venture Partners, Hitachi Ventures, Allianz, AlbionVC and Atomico. We closed a $75M Series B round in early 2026, taking our total funding to $94M, and we now power energy for over 4,000 UK businesses across 8,500+ sites , with over £75m in value returned to businesses and generators so far.

We're a technology company solving the energy industry, not an energy company. Some people call us a neo-utility, the neo-bank idea, applied to energy.

The industry is noticing. We were crowned Europe's Most Exciting Tech Company at the GP Bullhound Allstars awards , came in at #6 on LinkedIn's Top Startups 2026 in the UK, #7 on the Scaling Europe 50 of Europe's fastest-growing companies, and #14 on Sifted's AI 100 .

The Role

We're hiring a Creative Lead to help shape how tem shows up in the world. This is a senior, hands-on creative role sitting within our Brand & Credibility team, working closely with Product and Growth to turn strategy into work that's bold, sharp, and unmistakably tem. You'll report into the Senior Brand Lead and work closely together to build strong brand foundations and multi-channel campaigns that compound on each other for outsized impact. You won't just be setting direction from the sidelines. You'll be in the work daily, building alongside our existing creative team, low ego, high craft, always moving fast without dropping the bar.

In your first 12 months, you might:

Establish a clear creative system for tem's brand, from visual identity to campaign storytelling, that makes our work instantly recognisable.

Ship standout creative across a major launch or campaign that builds real emotional connection with a specific audience.

Take ownership of our tem self-serve creative AI tool, driving adoption across the larger organisation to reduce rote work without sacrificing quality.

Set up metric tracking and reporting for the studio, establishing a baseline for speed of execution and reporting progress against it.

Define what "fast and high quality" looks like for the studio, and put the systems in place to make it repeatable.

Identify and close a skills gap on the team through collaboration, hands-on coaching or targeted training.

Responsibilities

Shape the creative system: Translate our strategy and positioning into a distinctive visual identity, storytelling, and campaigns that make tem culturally relevant and instantly recognisable.

Build with impact: Deliver standout creative across launches, campaigns, web, and product moments that captures attention and builds emotional connection with specific audiences.

Lead an AI-first practice: Use modern AI tools and workflows to accelerate concepting, iteration, and production, and take ownership of our internal self-serve creative AI tool.

Lead without dictating: Put the systems and standards in place that everyone works to, and remove the blockers that get in the way of great work. You won't be across every project or act as gatekeeper - leadership here means levelling people up, not creative dictatorship.

Maintain high standards: Establish strong creative standards and help everyone produce work that feels bold, coherent, and world-class.

Balance pace and quality: Move fast without sacrificing craft, and bring the same energy to a scrappy project as to a major activation.

Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Brand, Product, and Growth to make sure creative work drives real business outcomes, from brand awareness to product adoption.

Requirements

Must-Haves

In-house experience shaping or evolving a strong brand, having played a key role in building a brand identity, campaign platform, or creative system that meaningfully changed how a company was perceived.

Practical, proactive experience bringing AI-driven tools into a business, with a track record of accelerating concepting, design, storytelling, or production.

A portfolio demonstrating exceptional creative craft, with bold, memorable work across brand, campaigns, and digital experiences.

Startup or scale-up experience, shipping quickly in a fast-moving environment while holding a high bar for quality.

Experience working across channels and with a range of budgets, from scrappy to significant, with equal commitment to both.

Leadership experience, paired with a genuine willingness to stay hands-on and do the work rather than only direct it.

Desirable

Experience in energy, fintech, or another highly regulated industry.

Experience working in a remote-first organisation.

Motion design experience.

Benefits & Perks

Stock options so everyone has ownership in our mission.

25 days holiday plus public holidays. Swap public holidays for the ones that matter most to you, and enjoy your birthday off.

Remote first and flexible working, with clear core hours and no internal meetings on Friday afternoons.

Up to GBP1,200 or EUR1,200 per year for your remote setup.

Up to GBP150 or EUR150 per month for wellbeing.
