AG Warehouse is one of Australia’s largest independent rural retail businesses, operating over 30 locations across Victoria, Tasmania, and Southern New South Wales. Backed by Saputo Dairy Australia, we support farming customers across dairy, livestock, cropping, and lifestyle sectors with trusted advice and quality products.

AG Warehouse is looking for a proactive and customer-focused Credit Officer to join our team.

In this role, you will manage credit risk and collections across an assigned debtor portfolio. You will work closely with customers, store managers and internal sales teams to support timely payments, resolve account queries and achieve positive commercial outcomes.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in credit or accounts receivable who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and taking ownership of their work.

Key responsibilities

• •Manage collections and follow up outstanding customer payments
• •Monitor debtor accounts and ensure compliance with agreed credit terms
• •Process and allocate incoming payments accurately
• •Conduct credit risk assessments for new and existing customers
• •Resolve account queries and disputes in a timely and professional manner
• •Build strong relationships with customers, store managers and sales teams
• •Support collection targets through proactive customer contact
• •Prepare reports and analysis relating to debtor performance and bad debts
• •Apply credit policies and escalate higher-risk matters when required

You will bring:

• •Experience in credit, accounts receivable or a related accounting role
• •Strong communication and negotiation skills
• •Confidence managing customer conversations and payment follow-ups
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• •The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• •Experience using credit management systems and Microsoft Excel
• •A collaborative, customer-focused approach
