St. Joseph Health College Station Hospital is a 167-bed facility that offers a Level III Trauma unit. - Responsibilities
- Case assignments: CRNAs at this practice have a high degree of independence. Cases include hearts, craniotomies, regional
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
- Requirements
- Schedule: One 16hr call per week available at College Station Medical Center and one 24hr call per week
- Current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
- Salary: $254K - $294K
- Sign on Incentive: Sign-on bonus $50K
