We are seeking an experienced Cryogenic Scientist. Successful candidates have a deep background in cryogenics, a focus on dilution refrigerators, and demonstrated ability to transfer commercial or academic research to fast-paced innovation, prototyping, and deployment.

Primary Responsibilities

Provide leadership in the conception, design, development and manufacture of cryogenic hardware.

Design and conduct experiments to test modifications to existing components and prototypes to increase performance, efficiency, and manufacturability.

Partner with engineers to translate innovations into functional prototypes and production-ready products.

Work across functional areas (cryogenic, electrical, software) to deliver fully integrated products.

Qualifications

PhD in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.

5-8 years designing, building, or significantly modifying dilution refrigerators.

Self-starter with ability to drive results independently.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Base Salary $100,000/yr - $150,000/yr depending on experience and qualifications with additional compensation in equity and bonus.
