JOB SUMMARY: The Custodian Worker II will provide cleaning of all casino areas to provide a safe and healthy environment.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Required skills and knowledge:

• •High school diploma or GED.
• •One year of professional cleaning experience in a casino, hotel, warehouse, or similar environment.
• •Ability to train on and operate specialized equipment such as the cardboard baler, riding shampooer, and street sweeper.
• •Ability to obtain certification in Aerial Work Platform Operation and Safety.
• •Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers Permit.
• •Pass NRWC pre-employment testing.
• •Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.
• •Ability to obtain a Class III Gaming License.

Preferred skills:

• •Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.
• •Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
• •OSHA 10

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• •Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, squat and lift up to 50 pounds.
• •Ability to safely perform job duties at heights of up to 30 feet.
• •Ability to stand and/or move around continuously during the assigned shift.
• •Ability to tolerate a noisy, smoke-filled environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

• •Knowledge of Hospitality Industry Guest Service Standards.
• •General cleaning of bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, emptying garbage, cleaning working areas, mopping, and shampooing, polishing, cleaning ashtrays, and cleaning glass.
• •Deep cleaning of areas needing additional attention including floor treatments, high dusting, window cleaning, and pressure washing.
• •Accessing sensitive or Class III areas to complete cleaning duties.
• •Operate equipment such as the cardboard baler, riding shampooer, and street sweeper safely and effectively.
• •Report to Custodial Shift Lead regarding any issues or problems that arise on assigned shift.
• •Provide training to new Custodial Workers, fostering a positive culture and work environment.
• •Perform other duties as assigned.
