Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. In this role, you will perform various cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a clean, organized, and inviting environment for our clients and staff. Your contributions will be essential in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

• •Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors and surfaces.
• •Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures, ensuring they are well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• •Empty and dispose of trash and recycling bins, following proper waste management procedures.
• •Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces to maintain a polished appearance.
• •Maintain and replenish cleaning supplies, notifying the supervisor of any low stock or equipment issues.
• •Assist in setting up meeting rooms and event spaces as needed.
• •Ensure common areas, such as hallways and reception areas, are always clean and presentable.
• •Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
• •Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• •Follow cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• •High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• •Proven experience in janitorial or custodial services is an asset.
• •Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
• •Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• •Ability to work independently and follow instructions effectively.
• •Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• •Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and complete them in a timely manner.
• •Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
• •Understanding of health and safety practices in a cleaning environment.
