Internal role title: Financial Services Operations Specialist
The Team
Cisco Capital is the dedicated financial services business of Cisco, providing flexible, tailored financing solutions that enable enterprise customers to acquire cutting-edge technology while optimizing cash flow. Supporting the German Capital sales organization, our Operations team ensures flawless contract execution, rigorous compliance, and seamless operational governance across complex commercial financing, lease, and loan portfolios.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Business Lead, the Customer Contract Manager serves as the operational linchpin for Cisco Capital in Germany. You will own the end-to-end contract origination and documentation lifecycle – verifying approvals, assembling funding packages, managing relationships, overseeing end-of-lease process, and ensuring impeccable legal and audit compliance in the German commercial market.
Your Responsibilities
- Origination & Funding Pack Management: Verify credit and pricing approvals, initiate standard and custom lease/loan agreements, assemble complete funding packs, validate invoices, and track deal execution in Salesforce (CRM).
- Customer & Partner Engagement: Build collaborative relationships with customers, channel resellers, and Financial Solution Managers (FSMs), attending customer meetings to guide documentation fulfillment and resolve onboarding inquiries.
- Sales Support & Pipeline Acceleration: Partner proactively with the German sales team from deal booking through funding, ensuring timely transaction close, smooth cash settlement, and proactive end-of-lease tracking and potential renewals.
- Cross-Functional Governance & Audits: Coordinate with Pricing, Credit Risk, Legal, and Operations teams to satisfy approval conditions, complete contract reschedules, and provide audit documentation for annual statutory reviews.
- Portfolio Lifecycle & Collections Coordination: Manage end-of-lease workflows to drive portfolio profitability and assist the centralized Operations team with in-country arrears management and recovery support.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical work experience).
- 3+ years of professional experience in commercial contract management, legal documentation, lease/loan operations, or banking operations.
- Demonstrated track record managing lease/loan origination workflows, funding package validation, and credit approval condition verification.
- Professional fluency in German (written and spoken) and English, with excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities across diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and process analysis skills, with proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office.
Preferred Requirements
- Prior experience in technology leasing, equipment financing, commercial banking, or asset-backed lending within the German/DACH market.
- Working familiarity with German commercial contract law, credit risk governance, and arrears/collections procedures.
- Demonstrated experience supporting internal/external financial audits and regulatory compliance reviews.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and coordinate remote cross-functional resources in a hybrid enterprise environment.
