Job Description

Just imagine shaping one trusted Amazon demand plan across nine European markets and turning changing retail signals into clear business decisions. Then make it real.

About the role

As our Customer Planning Manager, you'll build an accurate demand and sales forecast for Amazon across nine Western European markets. You'll translate retail, market and business insights into actionable plans, lead the monthly planning cycle, and identify risks and opportunities against business targets. You'll strengthen forecasting with Amazon while supporting product launches and strategic growth initiatives.

Please note: This is a fixed-term contract until the end of October 2027. This position will be based in our London Hub or our Grasbrunn office near Munich and follows a hybrid working model with three days in the office and up to two days remotely. Relocation support isn't offered for this role.

Required Qualifications

  • Built demand forecasts by combining multiple retail data sources and translating them into robust planning assumptions.
  • Led sales and operations planning cycles, assessing performance against plan and coordinating decisions across functions.
  • Applied advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas, scenario modelling, forecasting models or automation.
  • Created clear PowerPoint materials that turn complex data into recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Influenced stakeholder decisions using data-backed recommendations, including situations where teams held different views of the forecast.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Used SQL for data extraction, validation or analysis.
  • Produced reporting or data visualisations using Power BI.
  • Worked directly with external customers on forecasting, planning or related commercial priorities.

What you'll build

  • Own the topline demand plan for Amazon Western Europe across nine markets, turning retail data into clear planning assumptions.
  • Drive the monthly sales planning cycle, updating assumptions, identifying performance gaps and coordinating actions.
  • Bring marketing activities, retail plans, product launches and market-specific insights into the latest forecast.
  • Lead the Amazon forecasting workstream, improving alignment between our plans and Amazon's view of demand.
  • Improve forecasting tools and processes to make planning simpler and support faster decisions.
  • Support the Key Account Management team with item-level forecasts for new products and key in-season lines.

If you've improved forecast accuracy, led sales and operations planning cycles or influenced senior stakeholders on planning recommendations, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is turning analysis into decisions and creating alignment around a clear plan.

Life on the team

You'll join the B2B Western Europe Ecommerce team, connecting topline planning, item-level forecasting and inventory management. We're collaborative and commercially focused, with a continuous-improvement mindset. Weekly stand-ups and monthly team sessions keep us connected.

What success looks like

You'll become a trusted owner of the Amazon Western Europe planning process, delivering reliable forecasts and identifying risks and opportunities early. You'll help strengthen forecasting, reporting and planning efficiency while working closely with Ecommerce leadership, Amazon account and marketing teams, demand planning, Finance and Analytics.

Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. However, please note we do amend or withdraw our jobs and reserve the right to do so at any time, including prior to any advertised closing date. So, if you're interested in this role we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
