As a Customer Program Manager within the Automotive Processing & Systems organisation, you will drive strategic customer engagements across leading European OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. Automotive is a core growth business for NXP, enabling the transition to Software Defined Vehicles (SDV), zonal architectures, vehicle compute and next-generation automotive software platforms.

This is a customer-facing role requiring strong programme leadership, technical credibility and the ability to coordinate global cross-functional teams to ensure successful customer adoption of NXP solutions.

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive successful customer adoption and deployment of NXP SDV, vehicle compute, networking and processor solutions from concept through production.
  • Develop trusted relationships with customer engineering, programme, purchasing and management stakeholders.
  • Coordinate global cross-functional teams including engineering, applications, product management, quality, sales and business line organisations to deliver customer commitments.
  • Lead programme reviews, risk management, issue resolution and escalation activities to maintain customer satisfaction and programme execution.
  • Drive closure of technical, quality and commercial issues through structured action plans and executive follow-up.
  • Support portfolio and roadmap discussions with customers, ensuring alignment between customer requirements and NXP strategy.
  • Manage high-priority customer escalations and ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented.
  • Provide programme leadership for key design wins and strategic growth opportunities.
  • Support regular customer visits, executive reviews and business planning activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Solid experience in automotive programme management, customer engineering, system engineering or product management.
  • Experience working with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and semiconductor products.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical topics to both engineering and management audiences.
  • Excellent customer-facing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing capabilities across global organisations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex programmes simultaneously.
  • Experience driving issue resolution across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organisational, planning and risk management skills.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe and internationally as required.
