Enabler for smaller, more powerful, and more energy-efficient microchips

Working for tomorrow today.

Around 80 percent of all microchips worldwide are produced using ZEISS technologies. As the centerpiece of every electronically controlled system, they have become an integral part of our everyday lives – whether in smartphones, smart homes or smart factories. ZEISS is a technology leader in the field of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. With high-precision lithography optics, photomask systems and process control solutions, ZEISS enables the production of ever smaller, increasingly powerful, and more energy-efficient microchips, and thus plays a pivotal role in the age of micro- and nanoelectronics.

  • You also perform service and maintenance on our devices (by telephone, remotely and on-site) and act in your role as a brand ambassador for ZEISS worldwide
  • You are mainly responsible for troubleshooting and fault elimination by identifying systematic error influences and you independently analyse, resolve and document malfunctions

Your profile

  • Successfully completed degree in electronics, optronics, automation technology, microsystems technology, mechatronics, physics, or comparable technical training
  • Relevant professional experience in technical service in semiconductor technology, special-purpose machine construction, or a comparable industrial sector
  • Willingness to undertake multi-week business trips worldwide (approx. 60% travel) and high flexibility regarding your working hours
  • Open-mindedness towards other cultures, ideally proven intercultural competence (especially in the Asian region)
  • A high level of communication skills, team spirit and assertiveness
  • Enjoyment in solving demanding technical problems and a strong service and hands-on mentality
  • Very good German and English language skills
