Maersk is looking for a motivated Customs Associate to join our Customs Services team in Rijeka. This is a great opportunity for students or recent graduates who are eager to gain hands-on experience in customs operations, international trade, and logistics.

You will work closely with experienced customs professionals while supporting customers operating in the Italian market.

What You'll Be Doing

• •Assist in the preparation and processing of customs declarations.
• •Collect, review, and verify import and export documentation.
• •Support customs clearance activities and ensure documentation accuracy.
• •Communicate with customers regarding customs requirements and missing documents.
• •Maintain records and update customs systems.
• •Support compliance activities in line with customs regulations and company policies.
• •Participate in daily operational tasks and process improvement initiatives.
• •Learn about customs procedures, tariff classifications, and international trade regulations.

What We're Looking For

• •Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Logistics, Economics, International Trade, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
• •Fluency in Croatian and English .
• •Strong interest in customs, trade compliance, and logistics.
• •High attention to detail and accuracy.
• •Good communication and organizational skills.
• •Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.
• •Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
