Team/Role Overview

Review, maintain and improve Linux hardening policies following CIS and internal security baselines.

Build automation with Ansible, Python, Bash, and Git, applying ComplianceAsCode standards.

Collaborate with Linux and Qualys Engineering teams while developing the security baselines and corresponding Baseline Configuration Monitoring (BCM) checks.

Assist SA and application teams with troubleshooting issues related to secure configuration.

Assess vendor products to ensure they meet our security requirements.

Produce clear operational and security documentation for global engineering and audit requirements.

What you’ll do

• •Review and suggest appropriate Linux security configuration parameters for multiple flavours and version of the Linux operating system.
• •Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex issues
• •Develop automation processes to implement regional and OS specific configurations to meet industry standard and internal security configuration
• •Develop in Ansible, Bash and Python to implement security changes.
• •Validate and review implemented security configurations
• •Collaborate with internal teams and external vendor.

What we’ll need from you

• •Experience in Linux System administration especially related to security.
• •Familiarity with various orchestration tools such as Ansible
• •Coding ability in the following: Bash, Python, Ansible or similar
• •Basic understanding of public cloud security models in AWS and GCP
• •Good interpersonal skills
