Cycle Counter

Job Summary

The Cycle Counter Clerk is responsible for tracking inventory of various materials; finding the root causes for inventory discrepancies and accurately recording inventory counts in the system.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• •Counts and tracks physical inventory
• •Maintains accurate records of counts and frequency of counts
• •Communicates any variances or inventory discrepancies to management
• •Records inventory counts in the accounting system
• •Investigates any inventory discrepancies and document any corrections
• •Ensures accuracy of the information in the system and compliance with internal controls
• •Prepares various reports and correspondence as required
• •Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

• •High school diploma
• •Minimum one year of experience in inventory control or related area
• •Working knowledge of inventory internal controls, and company procedures
• •Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
• •Basic knowledge of lumber math, lumber grades and species
• •Preferred understanding of company policies, practices and procedures
• •Must be at least 18 years of age

Pay Range: $20-$24/hr
