This opportunity will work as an extension of staff with our client Miami Dade Aviation Department. The position entails being responsible for supporting the development of data-driven solutions by collecting, cleaning, and analyzing structured and unstructured data. You will assist in building basic models, generating insights, and creating visualizations to support business decisions. This role focuses on developing foundational skills in data science, statistical analysis, and machine learning while working in a collaborative environment.

What You'll Do:

• •Collects, cleans, and transforms data for analysis and modeling.
• •Builds basic statistical models and machine learning algorithms under guidance.
• •Creates visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights.
• •Collaborates with team members to support data-driven decision-making.
• •Documents data sources, processes, and findings.
• •Learns and applies best practices in data science and analytics.
• •Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

• •Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, computer science, computer engineering, or information systems, or
• •In lieu of education, 4 years of relevant experience.

What You'll Bring:

• •Analytical skills supporting data analysis, reporting dashboards, performance tracking, and process improvement.
• •Ability to build or improve Power BI/Tableau dashboards and analytical models.
• •Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
