We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Deployment & Service Delivery Lead to oversee the successful delivery of data centre infrastructure projects. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing end-to-end deployment activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

You will lead teams of engineers and technicians across multiple workstreams, acting as the primary onsite point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Delivery Leadership

• •Lead end-to-end deployment projects, from planning and mobilisation through execution, testing, handover, and closure.
• •Oversee rack & stack, hardware installation, structured cabling, fibre deployment, network infrastructure, and equipment decommissioning activities.
• •Manage project schedules, resources, risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
• •Monitor project progress and ensure delivery aligns with scope, quality, and timeline expectations.

Team Leadership

• •Lead and coordinate engineers, technicians, vendors, and shift-based teams in a fast-paced data centre environment.
• •Conduct shift handovers, team briefings, and progress reviews.
• •Coach and mentor team members while driving a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Quality & Operational Governance

• •Ensure all deployment activities comply with technical standards, operating procedures, and client requirements.
• •Establish quality checkpoints, oversee acceptance testing, and manage defect resolution.
• •Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and project records.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• •Serve as the main onsite contact for clients, programme managers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• •Provide regular updates on project status, risks, challenges, and mitigation plans.
• •Manage escalations and drive effective issue resolution.

Risk & Safety Management

• •Ensure compliance with health & safety requirements, site access procedures, and change control processes.
• •Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks, blockers, and dependencies.
• •Support incident investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Experience

• •Degree, Diploma, or equivalent experience in Engineering, Networking, Telecommunications, IT Infrastructure, or a related discipline.
• •Relevant Data Centre, Networking, Fibre, Safety, Service Delivery, or Project Management certifications are highly desirable.
• •Proven experience leading deployment teams within Data Centre, Network Infrastructure, Telecom, Critical Infrastructure, or IT Services environments .
• •Experience managing large-scale infrastructure deployments and multiple concurrent projects.
• •Strong background in service delivery, project execution, resource planning, and operational management.
• •Experience working directly with clients and managing vendors and cross-functional stakeholders.

Technical knowledges in Data Centre Deployment, Rack & Stack, Structured Cabling, Fibre Infrastructure, Network Installation & Connectivity, Testing & Commissioning etc.

Strong leadership and people management capabilities. Excellent planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
