YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a Data Engineer (AWS) to join an innovative project within the automotive sector

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud architectures in AWS.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of cloud environments.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE) and containerized workloads.
• Automate operational tasks using Bash, Python, or Go scripting.
• Monitor cloud environments with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, or Datadog.
• Enforce security best practices in cloud environments, including IAM policies, network security, and compliance frameworks.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize cloud applications and improve DevOps workflows.
• Drive cost optimization strategies and FinOps best practices.

YOUR PROFILE

• + 4 years of experience in data engineering roles with expertise in building and maintaining data pipelines, systems, and applications.
• Proficient in data warehouse design, implementation, and optimization, leveraging ETL/ELT processes, schema modeling, and ensuring efficient data retrieval for analytical purposesDegree in computer science, software engineering, or in engineering domains.
• Proficient in Python and one additional programming/querying language used for data engineering Java, SQL, NoSQLs or similar.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS S.Strong expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or ArgoCD.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, both SQL and NoSQL, with expertise in distributed systems design.
• Experience with big data technologies such as, Spark or other distributed processing technologies and familiarity with tools like Airflow for workflow orchestration.Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and best practices in ensuring data quality and compliance.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills to address complex data challenges.
• Familiarity with Standard AI/ML processes & Operations is greatly valued.
• Advanced knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi).
• Solid understanding of cloud security, identity management, and access control.
• Experience with observability and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK, Datadog).
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).

Fluency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in additional languages advantageous.
