Als Data Engineer treibst Du gemeinsam mit Deinem Projekt-Team herausfordernde Datenprojekte voran. Du entwickelst Data Infrastrukturen und arbeitest sofort auf realen Daten und kritischen Problemen unserer Kunden. Typische Beispiele sind die Entwicklung von Data Warehouses, Data Pipelines, (Reverse)ETL-Prozessen. Auf Augenhöhe arbeitest Du fachübergreifend gemeinsam mit unseren Kunden.

## Folgende Tätigkeiten liegen in Deinem Aufgabenbereich:

  • Entwicklung von technischen Lösungen für fachliche Herausforderungen unserer Kunden
  • Aufbau von ETL-Prozessen, Data Warehouses und Datenmodellen
  • Deployment von Machine Learning Modellen
  • Aufbau von CI/CD Prozessen
  • Entwicklung von Schnittstellen zu operativen Systemen
  • Deployment in Cloud-Systemen und Begleitung von Praxis-Tests

Bei uns bist Du richtig, wenn Du wissbegierig bist und Lust hast, Dich als Data Engineer anspruchsvollen Problemen zu stellen und innovative Lösungen zu entwickeln.

## Wir sind kein Fan von starren Profilen. Um Dir trotzdem eine Idee zu geben, hier einige Skills, die Deine zukünftigen Kolleg\*innen häufig mitbringen:

  • Studium oder Promotion in einer quantitativen Fachrichtung, z.B. Informatik, Mathematik, Physik oder Data Science
  • Analytische Fähigkeiten, Denken in Daten und Strukturen
  • Erfahrung in Python oder anderen Programmiersprachen
  • Erfahrung in Cloud-Plattformen
  • Unternehmerische Denkweise
  • Fließende Deutschkenntnisse

## Unser Tech Stack: Hier findest Du einige der Technologien, mit denen Du nach Deinen ersten Projekten bei SCHICKLER in Berührung gekommen sein wirst:

  • Programmiersprachen: Python, R, JavaScript, SQL
  • ETL / Data-Modeling: dbt, Google Dataflow, Pandas
  • Deployment: Docker, Google Kubernetes Engines, CI / CD
  • Cloud Plattformen: Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services
  • Datenbanken: BigQuery, Google Firestore
  • Datenvisualisierung: Tableau, PowerBI, Plotly, Matplotlib, Google Data Studio
  • Machine Learning: SciKit, xgboost, NLTK / spaCy, Keras, PyTorch, Prophet
