Data Governance Foundation Lead Analyst , Vice President

Shape how one of the world's leading financial institutions governs, protects, and controls its enterprise data as a Data Governance Lead Analyst, Vice President. In this role, you will help strengthen Citi's Data Governance and Data Risk and Controls framework, partnering across teams to turn complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable policies. Your work will directly influence how operational risk data is tracked, reported, and acted upon across the organization.

Responsibilities

• •Partner with teams across Citi to implement data governance policies and risk control frameworks that strengthen enterprise-wide data quality and accountability.
• •Advise on the design, effectiveness, and performance monitoring of Citi's Data Governance and Data Risk and Controls framework.
• •Build regular and ad hoc analytics, visualizations, and reports that give risk managers clear insight into operational risk data.
• •Acquire and consolidate operational risk data to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timely delivery to stakeholders.
• •Track data-related issues from identification through resolution, including ownership, target dates, and reporting metrics.
• •Support regulatory projects by defining business requirements, conducting analysis, and testing proposed solutions.
• •Analyze end-to-end processes to identify gaps and recommend efficient solutions that maintain strong controls.
• •Apply data analytics, machine learning, and natural language processing techniques to drive innovation in data governance practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• •8+ of experience in data governance, data management, process engineering, or a related field.
• •Working knowledge of project management methodologies and tools to plan and track delivery.
• •Ability to manage shifting priorities and tight deadlines while balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders.
• •Strong communication and diplomacy skills to influence and align stakeholders across functions.
• •Comfort working through ambiguity and complexity while managing multiple responsibilities at once.
• •Basic commercial awareness to connect data governance work to broader business priorities.
• •Bachelor's degree in a related field.
