Our mission is to empower every team in our organization with trusted, high-quality, and well-governed data so they can innovate with confidence. You’ll design and implement the policies, processes, and tools that ensure our data is accurate, secure, and accessible to the right people at the right time. • Partner with engineering teams to implement data quality monitoring tools and automated validation processes.
  • Establish clear data ownership and stewardship models across departments.
  • Drive compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and internal security policies.
  • Facilitate data governance councils and working groups to foster a culture of accountability and data literacy.
  • Monitor and report on data governance KPIs, highlighting improvements and areas for action.

  • Microsoft Fabric and Power BI governance: Practical understanding of Fabric workspaces, OneLake, Lakehouses, Warehouses, Dataflows Gen2, pipelines, semantic models, Power BI reports, endorsement/certification practices, workspace security, data access controls, and governed self-service analytics.
  • Azure data platform integration and data quality: Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, SQL, data lineage capture, pipeline monitoring, data quality rules, validation controls, role-based access, and integration patterns that support trusted, auditable data delivery.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or demonstrated equivalent experience in a related field required.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in data governance, data management, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK) and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with governance and catalog tools.
  • Familiarity with data privacy laws and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to translate governance principles into practical, scalable solutions.
