Data Processor- Per Diem

JOB SUMMARY

The Data Processor scores or processes data according to standard operating procedures and project specific training. The data processor may process PSG, MSLT, MWT, EEG, or other types of data, providing complete documentation, reports, and summaries of activity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• •Process files according to project specific criteria and internal standard operating procedures
• •Meet reliability standards for eligibility for this position and maintain reliability performance as well as annual re-certification.
• •Prepare documentation, reports, and summaries related to data processing activities.
• •Work in a timely manner, as assigned, until complete without error.
• •Attend regular data processor review meetings
• •Score digital data in accordance with currently accepted criteria and systems.
• •Maintenance of a kappa score of .80 or higher for sleep stage scoring, and any other project specific defined quality and reliability metrics.
• •Respond to data queries in a timely manner.
• •Follow and ensure compliance with current Good Clinical Practices (GCPs).
• •Adhere to corporate policies and procedures.
• •Benchmark studies when assigned by management.
• •Other duties as assigned.

Training is compensated at a rate of $35 per hour. Salary is structured based on the requirements of each individual study

Requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• •The position requires at least 5 years of prior scoring experience and must be able to meet and maintain reliability standards of performance.
• •PSG Data Processors require Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), credentials and/or PhD with comparable experience. College degree preferred.
• •Must have good problem-solving, documentation and communication skills and be able to apply logic and good clinical judgement related to the data.
• •Must have flexible and regular availability to adhere to 1 scorer to 1 participant policy, as required by project assignment and schedule, with the expectation to be able to complete a minimum of 10 files per week.
