Position Title: Data Scientist (Active Secret Clearance Required)

Requirements

Possess Active SECRET level Security Clearance.

Position Summary: The Data Scientist uses complex, large-scale data analysis to find business trends and problems in passport operations, then designs and builds the data models, databases and dashboards that address them.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify business trends and operational problems through complex big-data analysis

Interpret results from multiple data sources, using methods that range from data aggregation and statistical analysis to complex data mining

Design, develop and implement high-value analytical solutions

Prepare data, implement data models and develop the databases that support those solutions

Build dashboards and present findings and recommendations to government stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

S. citizenship.

Maintain an Active SECRET clearance.

Minimum 3 years of data science or advanced analytics experience

Proficiency in Python or R, and SQL

Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred

Ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences

Education

Bachelor's degree, or 7 years of equivalent experience.
